CBISA Online is IE9 Compliant
Supported browsers now include Internet Explorer 7, 8, and 9.
New Password Expiration Values
Administrators and Coordinators with user provisioning (the ability to manage CBISA users) can now set an expiration value for the password. The options are: Never, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 120 days, and 180 days. The default is "Never".
Change "Programs/Occurrences" to "Programs" and "Leadership Journal" to "Narratives"
Slight changes have been made to the main module tabs to make the program more user-friendly. The "Programs/Occurrences" tab has been re-labeled to "Programs" and the "Leadership Journal" tab has been re-labeled to "Narratives". The functionality of each module remains unchanged.
New Program Filter Option
A new option has been add to the available Program Filter list. The new option, "Only show Programs with Occurrences" allows you to see Programs with Occurrences in the current fiscal year or Occurrences in any fiscal year.
Re-Alignment of Occurrence Screen
The Occurrence screen has been slightly modified. The salary expense section is now better aligned to express the correct use of the "Hours & Rates" section. The word "department" has been added to the department hours line.
New "Partnerships" Module
A new module has been added to CBISA Online. The Partnerships module allows for a "level above" the Programs module. The Partnership module can be used to track community partners, areas of concern, funders, etc. The Partnership module is a feature that may be displayed or hidden from the CBISA Customization tab in Edit Defaults. The current default is set to "Hide" the new module. To show the Partnerships module tab, access Edit/Defaults and open the CBISA Customization tab. Select (check the box) "Partnerships". Also, Partnerships are not tied to a date range and are available in any active year. The Partnership main module tab may be renamed in Edit/Defaults/Custom Terms to express how you choose to use the new "level above" Programs.
New Relationship Manager
Previously, linking narratives or outcomes to programs was extremely restrictive. CBISA only allowed for a one-to-one link between these records. However, the Relationship Manager will now allow for one-to-many links of all data records except Occurrences. On the control panel for the main modules, Partnerships, Programs, Narratives, and Outcomes, there are now several "linking" options. To activate the Relationship Manager, choose the appropriate record from the browse box and simply click on one of the available "linking" options. The Relationship Manager will open and you will see "right/left" selection boxes. The left side shows records "not linked". If you want to link to your selected record, move any "left side" entry to the "right side" by highlighting and clicking on the arrow at the bottom of the manager box, or by double clicking on the record. You may move one, more than one, or all of the records from "not linked" to "linked". Click on the function button "Save" to save your links and close the Relationship Manager. From the dropdown list at the top of the Relationship Manager box, you may create all of your links to the specific record chosen.
Available linking options for Administrators and Coordinators:
Partnership Module: Programs, Narratives, Outcomes
Programs Module: Partnerships, Narratives, Outcomes
Narratives Module: Partnerships, Programs, Outcomes
Outcome Modules: Partnerships, Programs, Narratives
Available linking options for Reporters:
Programs Module: Pending Narratives, Pending Outcomes
Pending Narratives: Programs
Pending Outcomes: Programs
Special note concerning previously linked Narrative and Outcome records: NO links will be lost. Narrative and Outcome records previously linked to Programs will be preserved and will be correctly displayed in the Relationship Manager as a "linked" record.
Changes to Reports & Listings
Partnership Tab: There are three reports on the new Partnership Reports & Listing tab to capture the links between the new Partnership Module and other CBISA records.
Revised Reports: Menu 1 Outcomes has been revised to All Outcomes Including Linkages and Narrative Reports Programs with Narratives and Master List have been combined into one report, All Narratives including Linkages.
New Report on Control Listings: A new report has been added to allow you to print any information collected for Appendix D for the Reporting Unit.
