    Joint Ventures
According to the IRS Instructions for the Form 990 Schedule H, your organization may be able to include a proportionate share of community benefit from some Joint Ventures.  A new Joint Venture screen has been added to the Financial Services module.  You may add as many different Joint Ventures as necessary.  The IRS reports, when applicable, have been updated to include an option to run the reports with or without Joint Venture numbers.

Please Note:  Any category F (Community Building) activities listed on the Joint Venture screen will show on line 9 "Other" on the report for Part II, IRS 990H reports.

    Enable/Disable "Publishing"
For each reporting unit that is part of your organization, you may now choose to enable or disable the "publishing" feature.  Currently, Reporters can "publish" a record when it is complete and ready to be imported by a coordinator or administrator.  Published records appear in the browse box with a green font and unpublished records are red.  If you uncheck the "Enable Publishing" checkbox on the Reporting Unit information screen, then the option to publish/unpublish records will no longer be available to reporters as part of the "More" button functionality.  Also, the font for any record regardless of the status will be black.

Institutional Policy Measures (IPMs and Appendix D
For those organizations that would like to evaluate the overall community benefit program and organizational commitment, Institutional Policy Measures from the ASACB (Advancing the State of the Art of Community Benefit) demonstration and Appendix D from CHA's Evaluating Community Benefit Programs guide, are now part of the Reporting Unit screens.

Category B Changes for IRS Medicare Worksheet
Two new fields have been added to the "memo only" section on the Occurrence screen:  Medicare Costs and Medicare Revenue.  Dollar amounts entered in these fields will show on the Medicare Part III Worksheet (IRS Form 990 Schedule H report menu) in column C, lines 1 and 2.

Client ID Shows for Reporting Unit
The client ID assigned to each reporting unit by Lyon Software is now shown in the upper right hand corner, just to the left of the active reporting unit dropdown.  If you are speaking with a Support team member from Lyon Software, please provide them with this number, if requested.
