Programs-Objectives

A sub-menu tab (or page) available for data input on the Program screens is Objectives.  Free form text boxes are available to describe the community need being addressed, how the need was determined (or assessed), and the objectives for the program.  All free form text boxes allow for an unlimited amount of text (scroll bars will appear on the side of the box if needed) and the spell check option is available.

Some of the additional check boxes that are available answer the following questions:
  • Which of the four community benefit objectives are met by this program?
      -Improve Access to Health Services
      -Enhance Public Health
      -Advance General Knowledge
-Relieve/Reduce Burden of Government to Improve Health
  • Is this program duplicated in the Community?  Checking the box indicates a positive, or "yes", response.
  • Does this program address an unmet Community need?  Checking the box indicates a positive, or "yes", response.
  • Is this a collaborative effort?  If so, show major partners and their respective roles below.  The collaborators free form text box also allows unlimited text and provides a spell check option.

To see the information listed above on a report, in the Reports and Listings module on Menu I, select the Program Detail Full report and Programs with Collaborators.

If you have created User Defined Codes in defaults, a check box with the code name and code description will appear at the bottom of the page.  You can check as many user defined codes that are applicable to the program record.
