Changes to CBISA Plus™
  • Indicators elevated to Main Module status
You may now directly link quantifiable indicators to any of the following data records through the Relationship Manager:  Needs, Goals, Partnerships, Programs, Outcomes, and Narratives.  Any existing Indicator records that were previously added to a Goal record are now linked through the Relationship Manager.  Reports for Indicators and Measurements have been moved from the Goals sub-menu to a newly created Reports and Listings sub-menu titled "Indicators".  A new comprehensive report has been added to show information about the Indicator and all linkages.  In addition, all "Comprehensive" or "All Linkages" reports have been enhanced to include Indicator linkages.
  • Occurrences may now be linked to Needs records
For more detailed reporting regarding Persons Served and Dollars Spent, you may now link an Occurrence to a Need through the Relationship Manager.  While the Occurrence record is highlighted in the Browse Box, open the "More" function control button and select "Manage Relationships".  A new Needs-Linked Occurrences report has been added to the Needs report sub-menu.
  • IPMs and Appendix D have been removed from the Reporting Unit record
Institutional Policy Measures (IPMs) were part of a 3 year demonstration project entitled "Advancing the State of the Art of Community Benefit".  The demonstration project ended more than five years ago and little to no information can be found regarding IPMs.  Similarly, with the new 2015 Evaluation Guide from Catholic Health Association, Appendix D is also no longer available.   Therefore, we have removed IPMs and Appendix D from the Reporting Unit record.
  • Community Benefit objectives aligned with 2015 A Guide for Planning and Reporting Community Benefit
To more closely align with Catholic Health Association's 2015 Guide, the community benefit objective checkboxes on the Program/Objective page have been updated.  The objective checkboxes are now: Improve access to health services; Enhance public health; Advance increased general knowledge; and, Relieve the burden of government to improve health.
  • Occurrence description overlap issues resolved for Statistics reports
In some instances, Occurrence descriptions were overlapping other column text on report previews.  The issue has been corrected.
  • Negative integers allowed on IRS Bad Debt screen
In Financial Services on the IRS Bad Debt screen, certain fields were not accepting negative integers as expected.  This error has been addressed and corrected for all supported browsers.
  • Typo for Part II IRS Report has been corrected
Line 5 on the Part II report contained in the Reports and Listings sub-menu entitled "IRS 990 Schedule H" has been corrected to read "Leadership Dev/Training for Community Members".
  • Programs-Comprehensive (All Linkages) report added
On the Programs sub-menu in Reports and Listings, a new report has been added.  The Programs-Comprehensive (All Linkages) report contains the following information for the Program record: Title, Category, Description, IRS Reportable, Targeted For population, Sponsoring Department name, total Persons Served and total Net Benefit (for the date range specified).  The report also contains basic information for all of the data records (Needs, Goals, Partnerships, Indicators, Outcomes, and Narratives) that have been linked to the Program through the Relationship Manager.
