Defaults-CBISA Customization
To streamline your CBISA Online program and show only the screens/features you are currently using to collect data, access the CBISA Customization tab in Edit Defaults. "Selecting" (checking the box) a customizable feature turns the feature "on", allowing the page to be accessed and edited. "De-Selecting" (unchecking the box) a customizable feature turns the feature (and its associated edit default tab or tabs and reports) "off", hiding the page(s), removing the Edit Default tabs, and making the associated reports unavailable. By default, all features and Edit Default tabs are "selected".
To Select (show) a page/feature:
Choose Options then Edit Defaults (top right hand side of screen)
Choose the CBISA Customization tab
Check the appropriate box
Features that may be selected include:
Modules: Partnerships, Narratives, Outcomes
Defaults: Multiple Reporting Units
Program Pages: Settings and Formats, Healthy Communities, Target Audience (special field consideration for Gender, Vulnerable Populations & Ages, County)
Financial Service Information: Patient Cost to Charge Ratio, IRS Form 990 Schedule H (IRS Medicare, IRS Bad Debt, 990H Questions, Joint Venture, IRS Reportable Checkbox)
Edit Default tabs that may be selected include:
Healthy Communities
Categories
User Defined Codes
Settings
Formats
Ages
Vulnerable Populations
Subjects
Keyword/Person
Areas of Interest
Click on Save to save the Feature/Edit Default selections
To De-Select (hide) a page/feature:
Choose Options then Edit Defaults (top right hand side of screen)
Choose the CBISA Customization tab
Uncheck the appropriate box.
Click on Save to save your changes
For additional information regarding each "turn on/turn off" feature, click on the informational icon beside each checkbox. Note: Access to the CBISA Customization tab may be granted or prohibited for any System Administrator or Coordinator by checking or unchecking the box on the user account screen "Can Customize CBISA".
