Changes
to CBISA Plus™
Changes to One Reporting Unit Organizations
Several
changes have been made for Organizations with only one Reporting Unit.
·
Edit and Org Defaults are accessed through a single
link and appear on the same screen
·
Regions/Entities/Groups are not available at the Org
Default Level
·
Multi-User accounts cannot be created
·
Multi-Unit Reports & Listing menu is not
available
DEFAULTS
(OPTIONS)
Departments
Department number and rate have been removed.
Person/Author
Person/Author was previously captioned
‘Keyword/Person’.
Customizations
Two new checkboxes have been added to allow for more
granular customization of the software. Unchecking the ‘Community Needs’
checkbox hides the Community Needs Main Module. Unchecking the ‘Goals’ checkbox
hides the Goals Main Module. Checking each will re-surface the corresponding
main module.
Reporting Unit Financial Tab
This tab has been simplified. Session dates, fringe
percent, unit wide rate, indirect cost percentages and other unused fields have
been removed.

MODULE
Partnerships
General: Additional
contact information has been added.
Programs
General: NA (None
Apply) is now a valid reporting category choice. It is the default category
when adding new programs. ‘Targeted For’ field has been removed.
Objectives: The page
has been simplified and text boxes have been relabeled.
Target
Audience: Gender has been removed.
Occurrences
The form has been simplified. Fringe percent and
indirect expenses have been removed. A new ‘Cash Donated’ field has been
added.
Narratives
General: Optional
Hours field has been removed.
Classification
Methods: Formerly captioned ‘Subjects’. This list is now the same as
Program/Classification Methods list. Any subjects which were previously in use
have been appended to the Classification Methods list.
Outcomes Module Re-designed
Some information previously show on the General page
is now shown on a new page captioned “Legacy”. This is information that is no
longer needed (Specific Indicator and Term of Indicator) due to the Goals
module which has measurable Indicators.
The Outcomes and Indicator records can be linked
through the Relationship Manager.
Outcomes can also be filtered based on their relationship to Programs,
Goals, and Indicators.
Reports & Listings
All of the reporting menus have been re-organized to
make it easier to find a specific report based on its desired content. The new menu headings are: Needs, Goals, Partnerships, Programs,
Summaries, Statistics, IRS 990 Schedule H, Narratives & Outcomes, Custom,
Other, and Multi-Unit. For a resource

Support Center (available through the link on your CBISA login page). Additional report changes/enhancements
include:

Partnership Reports have been enhanced to include
more complete information.

Comprehensive Partnership report

Partnership – Selected Type report
o Directory of
Partnership report allows you to select one, some or all Partnerships. The
partnership type field has been added to this report.
o Statistics
have been added to the Selected Programs report
o Full
Partnership information has been added to the Selected Areas of Interest report
o Occurrences
– Selected Partnerships report has been enhanced to include the occurrence
department

Two new Goals reports: Progress Compared to Target and Progress
Compared to Baseline

Occurrences-Selected Programs/Categories has a new
column for “Date Created” (Statistics Menu)

“All Outcomes Including Linkages” report will
include linked Indicators (Narratives & Outcomes Menu)

New reports available on the Multi-Unit menu: Multi
Programs Detail, Multi Selected Categories, Multi Selected Counties, Multi
Selected Classification Methods, Multi Selected User-Defined Codes – Programs,
Multi Selected User-Defined Codes – Occurrences, Multi Benefit Summary, Multi
Programs – Alternate Version, Multi Narrative Selected Classification
Methods
New Functionality and Fixes

Copy function has been added for Needs records
·
For pending records, the highlight bar now indicates
(via red or green) whether or not the record has been published rather than the
font
·
The ability to add the same attachment in succession
to Occurrences for the same Program has been fixed
